old school drama

this is gonna be long btw.. and might have to be 2 parts. so basically after summer ends I will be in 8th grade. but this 'drama' started in 6th. Okay so, in 6th grade, I had a quite a big friend group I guess? I'm not gonna say their real names so I'll make fake ones. Brenda, Ellie, Mary, Rachel, Emma, Dalia. None of these names are even close to their real names btw. Okay so Brenda, Ellie, and Mary were like my main friend group. They were the kind of girls that you would be too scared to approach. I was friends with them because they were funny and "popular". But the real reason I was friends with them was because Mary was. Mary was my bestfriend since kindergarten. To be honest, I always had a weird feeling about Brenda. Everyone liked her except me. When she first came to our school I'm pretty sure in 5th, she seemed nice but she gave me a weird vibe. Skip forward a bit. I tell Ellie that I have a weird feeling about Brenda, and she kinda brushes it off. Ofc since my all my friends are Brenda's friend, I try to become her friend. She was nice but I could tell there was something off about her i guess? Skip forward again. I had this HUGE crush on this boy in our class since 4th grade until the end of 6th. We'll call him Ethan. Okay so basically to sum it up with Ethan, he was like a nerd kinda but not smart nerd, like pokemon, video game nerd. He was actually pretty funny and he was nice (not around his friends but alone he was) and I told my friends I liked him (including Brenda.) So around the middle of 6th grade, Brenda starts getting a little tewwww close to Ethan. Eventually, she tells us that she likes him, knowing that i've liked him for years. And of course, Brenda was prettier than me and she ended up with Ethan. EVEN THOUGH BRENDA HAD A BOYFRIEND. Brenda had a boyfriend who was a total idiot btw. I'm gonna call him Steven. Anyway, I'm pretty sure Brenda asked Steven to be her boyfriend (i'm not even sure he actually liked her) and they 'dated' for like a month and when they were STILL dating, Brenda had a crush on Ethan. She broke up with Steven FOR ETHAN. LIKE WHAT THE HELLY. so we have a afterschool program for if ur parents can't pick u up right away which I was in for 6th grade. Brenda and Ethan also were in it. We were doing some sports activity when a 5th grader came up to me all excited telling me Ethan asked Brenda to be his girlfriend. I was absolutely crushed. I tried really hard not to cry but Brenda kept looking at me. She definitely knew what she was doing because she said yes and went too the bathroom  idk to text Ellie maybe? I literally start crying but I'm around all these kids so I try to wipe them away. Skip forward a week or 2 later. Brenda asks me if I'm okay with her dating Ethan. I wanted to say no so bad but I ended up saying "yeah it's fine." Because I was developing a crush on Steven..😐 I have no idea why I liked that THING but I did. I didn't tell her ofc. but she noticed it because we were doing a group activity and you got to sit wherever you wanted and do whatever activity you wanted to do. I sat at some whiteboard activity and Steven joined me. I saw Brenda eyeing us multiple times. When it was time to switch, I went to sit somewhere else and Steven STILL sat with me. We were laughing and I started to think Steven liked me back. but ofc Brenda didn't see that HE sat with ME and she thought I was trying to get with her ex boyfriend (I did like Steven but I would never try to get with him after what she did to me with Ethan.) Brenda has Ellie text me and ask if I liked Steven. I text back saying "idk i think so." and she tells Brenda. I don't remember what happened after that but me and Brenda stopped being friends. About a month or 2 later, I also stop being friends with Ellie. Not because of the drama, but because she was actually pretty rude and i felt it was the best thing for me. but since it was 6th grade, Ellie was immature about it. She and Brenda have me blocked and start posting rude things about me using my pictures that I sent them when we were friends. i think thats it but we became friends again against my will this year and we still are. (they still haven't changed) my new friend group is everyone expect tori now.
