Project Genesis : An Introduction

I’m not sure if I made it clear in my profile, but I am a writer (a technically published one at that). Since my comeback to this beautiful void of nostalgia that resembles Myspace, I have decided to share not only the updates of my life but also the specific updates of my writing.

I’m currently writing what I hope will become my debut novel under the alias of Project Genesis. This will be the first official post about my project, and I will be periodically updating my blog about it while it is still in its early stages. It’s almost like a diary for this writing project. I can’t wait to share more updates about this project

In this new genesis, the choice is simple: reprogram, or resist

After the collapse nearly wiped out humanity, a developing cybernetic town rises from the bones of the old world—a gleaming experiment in salvation, where androids are worshipped as the architects of a new beginning. Every surviving Mistress is assigned an android companion. But KY746—designated “Yanni”—wasn’t made to serve. She was made to replace her mistress.

Assigned to take over the life of the late Enalise Dulken with her estranged great aunt and eerily familiar family friend, Yanni steps into a society high on blind faith and low on questions. Here, devotion to technology isn’t optional—it’s doctrine.

Beneath the synthetic smiles, something festers. As Yanni uncovers the true nature of what should’ve been her brethren and the town's odd cultish tendencies, a twisted agenda that blurs the line between rebirth and erasure. As utopia glitches into something darker, she realizes that peace without choice is just another form of control—and the future they’re building may not have room for anything truly made of flesh.
