hi, so today my church hosted a dinner over gospel & testimony night tonight at 6:00 PM (i didn't know what else to call it). i didn't get to go but my nana & 2 sisters (Annie, 24 & Fiona, 25) did. i stayed home & watched my 2 nieces with my mum. the good news i received when they returned made me cry & i can't help but share!! also, one of my teachers/Sister K knows of my blog & what spacehey is now LOL, she doesn't have my account but i am a bit aaaaaaaaaaa ÓuÒ' about her knowing. all is good though hahahahahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!!! the food was good, Annie came back with some fried rice, went well w my dumplings iykyk :P dedication post to God and to Annie, who is now both my sister in flesh and sister in Christ Jesus. Amen.
we were just chilling at home, around 2.5 hours had passed since they left to attend the dinner when we got a distressing call from both of my sisters. at first, everything was incoherent and then i realised Annie was asking for a ride home - before we could answer, my other sister, Fiona (who i now know was consoling & praying over A) told us she was going to drop her off but that she had to be back quick for nana. not long after the call, Annie walks in. we ask her what the issue was as we were concerned. she filled us in & then we moved to her room with my 2 nieces. later on (when Fiona came back) she said how as soon as she entered the house she was ok n that when she walked upstairs to her room that she was confused as to why she felt this peace after the wreck she was not long ago. she mentioned how she needed to pray for wisdom & understanding so i awkwardly asked if she wanted to be alone for that but to my surprise she asked me if i could pray with her. we ended up getting distracted & talking about other things, recapping the dinner. this man stood out to her, a Pastor (i'll call him G) one who goes from church to church travelling across the country. he was very interested in Annie & sat right beside her, she recited a conversation that went a bit like this: "Hi, i'm Pastor G what are you here for?" "Food." "I like that answer. I've been a Christian since I was 25. How old are you?" Facing Annie. "24, but she's 25!!" pointing at my other sister, "Yeah, but more about you. Are you reborn?" "Yeah." my sister said nervously, "Are you?" "Yes! I don't know.." "I like that answer. I've been a Christian for 48 years." that's all i can rllyy rmb/know of the convo but my sister later on said that she felt as though he knew she was trying to deflect/direct the conversation to someone else. as if he was trying to get something out of her but didn't quite get there or know how to. she kept questioning why he even sat by the table. around 10-15 minutes had gone by & we moved back to the living room, we got onto talking about God again & it was at that moment i decided to open up in prayer. i rhymed intentionally & she noticed lol we prayed for wisdom, understanding & strength. we thanked Him for all that He has done so far & for the opportunity He's opened up for us to pray about all these things. idk what else but yeah it was rllyy nice n i enjoyed being able to do that for/with my sister. she really needed it.
like 2 minutes after we had closed our prayer, my other sister, Fiona came bursting through the door, a grin pierced from ear to ear with good news for all to hear. "The whole church has prayed for you, Annie!!", she cried out "There was a huge lot of people waiting for prayer by Pastor G, but he called for your name and he prayed for you first in front of everyone!! At the end of it, he apologised for the sudden interruption of the Holy Spirit!!! And bubba (me), Sister K said you're really good company, she reckons you shouldn't even be in the classes as you're so knowledgeable in the word! She also asked about you & mum. Come, lets watch this video." tbh i disagree with sister K about me being rllyy knowledgeable on the word, i've read little n rmb the little things i can related to each lesson & i still have much to learn in the classes TnT i hope she doesn't try force me downstairs, i'm way 2 awkward to decline n insist my place in the classroom. also, confession time: i struggle to even pick up my Bible & i've recently relapsed on a mind-altering substance, i've found it hard to pray & I've been neglecting my Lord each day. it hurts me to know, to do, to continue, but that's the truth - so this, as well as the news from Pastor D on Sunday has felt so personal. i know my whole household has been praying & here's a bit of my prayer from last week: please minister to the hearts of my sisters, my mother & my nieces. tonight, i believe that prayer was answered & all our hearts were ministered to, though i didn't ask it for me, He gave me what i need. all i can say is wow. we ended up watching a small section of the video that gets posted on my churches private page where Pastor G had prayed for Annie & it was so beautiful it brought me to tears. all of us. my highlights of the video: Pastor G calling my sister by the wrong name for half of the speech, my nana walking into frame like it was a movie set whilst facing the opposite way from the crowd, the prayers, the back & forth between my nana n Pastor G, my sisters speech, the acknowledgement of Fiona's problems, i'd share it with you all if i wasn't aiming for a semi-anonymous page. God is good.
AMAZING NEWS | HALLELUJAH !! (੭ˊᵕˋ)੭ †
after Annie saw that video, she screen recorded it & watched it non-stop all night. she couldn't stop talking about it & said that she may begin following God now. she was so rejoiced & so just happy yk idk, that night was a night filled of Jesus talk & love. later on, around midnight she/we recited a prayer that Fiona pointed out from that same video which announced us all a reborn creation in Christ. A party in Heaven happened that night, and a party on earth as we celebrated our new sister in Christ. confused, Annie asked, "so how am i meant to be reborn? do I become like a baby?" {literally a replay of John 3:1-4 LOLLL} Fiona was like "..yeah, actually. in Matthew 18:2-4 it says, 'Truly, I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven." bit of b.g, earlier, Fiona & I was reading the last page of Revelations outta free Bible I got previously from an op shop down da road n right at the back of the book the last owner put "Matthew 18 , unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven". Then, after some more talk, Fiona decided to read out a booklet from my church, 'A Love letter from the Father'. i read it some other time before, i love that one. Annie is so funny, before Fiona joined us we heard a car alarm go off outside & she was like "DARN CRIMINALS, NEED CANE TO COME DO THEM IN AYE" i laughed sm n she was so confused as 2 why i was laughing n i was js like "bro what ur funny." n then she started laughing with me. like 10 minutes after that happened, the alarms had stopped & on a loud as speaker we hear "BIG BACK BIG BACK BIG BACK BIG BACK" my paranoid ass ran to the door lock the door & she followed right behind me with a huge smile, i locked it then turned to see Annie saying "I WANNA SEE, I WANNA SEE" n i was like "OMDS NOOOO THEY COULD BE ON A KILLING SPREE" then we ran back to where we were laughing. i'll cherish these memories. Annie also expressed how she's been keeping so much locked up inside her, and now she feels like she can tell us, that she should tell us. i agree. i'll do a transcript of all the prayers/speeches/letters in the following sections ^u^
PASTOR G'S SPEECH | TRANSCRIPT
"I was just cruisin' along here. I met a girl tonight when I walked in here. A girl by the name of Judy (wrong name). I think she was sitting about right there." the whole crowd turns to the right, and behind "What's happened to Judy? I wanna know." searching intensifies "Are you here, Judy?" Pastor C (my Church's leader) was like "She's coming!" and everyone just began spinning in confusion, Pastor G continued "She's coming? Now that's Fiona. Where's Judy? Where's Judy gone, Fiona? Yeah. You had to send her home? I really believe you gotta tell - it was Judy, wasn't it? Annie, sorry, Annie. You gotta tell Annie when you go home that I reckon, God's got her and God's Holy. When I sat beside her tonight, I felt to tell, in fact, I thought I'd wait. Never wait when God tells you to say something, just say it. So, that I missed that opportunity. But you need to tell Annie that God's got her. And her pain and her problems, God says, to 'Give them to Me', And God says to Annie, 'I'm going to take hold of your problems and I'm going to heal you and heal your broken heart and I'm going to restore your life.' please tell her that for me tonight. And tell her that we're praying for her. In fact, right now..." He then opened up in prayer ⬇
PASTOR G'S PRAYER FOR ANNIE | TRANSCRIPT
"I pray for Annie. God, she's gone home, but I believe right there at home, God that she encounters - let me hold your hand" Fiona stepped forward and grabbed his hand, "because you're going to give her this message. And Lord as you go home to Annie, I speak a miracle all over her life right now. I take authority over every attack of the enemy on her life and I break the shackles of her past and I set her free from that. And God, I pray right now that she has a revelation of your love tonight in the name of Jesus. That the chains fall off and that Annie come to freedom in Jesus name. Father, I thank you right now. Thank you right now. And you, you're Fiona, aren't you? While you stand there, just lift your hands up in the air right now because Fiona, I wanna tell you, God says, 'As you lifted your hands up there tonight, there was a cloud over your life tonight.' There was a cloud when I met you, there was a cloud hanging over your world. God says, 'When your hands went up like that, the cloud is broken and I want to tell ya, darkness is not going to rule over your world. Darkness is not going to hinder you," but God says, "I'm intervening in your world and get ready for a miracle" in Jesus name. Father, I thank you for a miracle in this young woman's life right now. God, I thank you right now, for the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit over you, your family, over your home, in Jesus name and I thank you right now, God. Lord, what the, there is a word for ya! God says to me, "What the enemy meant for evil," God says, "I'm going to turn it around for righteousness and it will be a testimony to my greatness and my goodness" in Jesus name. Thank you Lord for a miracle right now, in the name of Jesus over your life. Just stay there, too. Can you feel the power of God all over you, right now? FIONA'S SPEECH | TRANSCRIPT
"My sister was breaking down outside, so we prayed for her outside and then she told me that she needed to go home. So, I said, pray for wisdom and understanding. She went home to my little sister who the Sister K said that she's really good company, and when I came in here, you said something about being around good company. So, she went home and I told her to ask for wisdom and understanding and when you've been here talking, I've just been praying for her this whole time. Because she's going through such a hard time right now. She was breaking down outside, & I prayed to take away all her pain and everything." The mic went back to Pastor G & he continued ⬆
PASTOR G'S REBORN PRAYER | TRANSCRIPT
"As we were, before we got interrupted by the Holy Spirit, okay? every one of you pray this prayer with me. I want you to make this confession. You know, there's something about confession like I said tonight. Confession is the reason I stand here, okay?" (Yadayada testimony about how his neck x-ray results say he shouldn't be able to walk, and here is standing here today, walking, preaching, and completely okay) "I'm going to ask you to make this confession tonight. So here we go:
Jesus,
I thank you for your amazing love.
That you hung on the cross
for all of my sin.
That you rose again on the third day.
Back to life.
So that I could be free of every curse,
every curse that has ever held me.
And today,
with my mouth,
I confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord of my life.
My past is gone.
And my future begins right now.
So in Jesus name,
I will follow you.
