i just found out someone i was in a groupchat with a while back passed away.  im fairly late to the news i guess you could say. i wasnt really close with him so im not sure if this is weird or whatever. but i remember thinking he was sooo cool and funny. and i always had a blast in that groupchat. 

i have a playlist on spotify, what used to be a collaborative playlist that i privated. two people added songs from the groupchat, and he was one. the playlist has one save that im pretty sure is him. about a month or two ago- maybe more maybe less- i looked at the playlist and listened to some songs. i was like wow he has taste. i actually went to the unsent project to send a thing to him, but since theres a waitlist im sure it never got sent. whatever. i said he had good music taste and i hope he's doing well.

i hope he is resting well. i wish i could send my condolences to his loved ones.

a lot of complicated feelings but i thought id share those songs. the ones on the playlist that reminded me of him, that make me wish i could reach out and say how cool he is. rest in peace oliver <3
