hi everyone!!!
me and my sister are "proud" owners of a bricked New 3DS XL
some background info; the 3ds is unmodded completely, i dont have a NAND backup, and its been bricked for a little over a year
its a soft brick for sure, the power turns on and you can hear the background music, but the screen is completely blank
when i booted the console into safe mode, it performed the system update just fine but after updating it still shows the same screen as before
is there a way i can fix this without homebrew/excessive hardware modifications?

these are things ive tried so far:
safe mode update
remove/reinsert sd card and battery
replace sd card (somehow made the sound stop working until i replced it woth the other one?)
id assume theres an issue with something internally–most likely the camera, since we had issues with the app crashing often–and im trying to get into the system to remove/reinsert the camera or wifi chip, however id like to know if theres a way to fix it without soldering and getting into the internals or heavily modding the 3ds

Also try disconnecting the camera cable inside the 3ds
