hey guys! so, to start off this wall of text i'm writing in the early hours of the morning due to me hating sleep: who was gonna tell me how much better the website is compared to the app? like, i can actually SEE stuff beyond just 5 posts. also i decided to look at the og myspace since i thought “hey, if this was big in the early 2000s then surly theres some good stuff on here.”... i was very disappointed to go onto the front page and see it was pretty much just a sad millennial grey buzzfeed.
also i just realized there's like NO fanfic on here which is weird since let's be real here, we're all nerds. tbh i probably would write fanfic just to put it on here but i am so bad at writing stuff in character i would probably be hung in the town square if i even THOUGHT about looking at a google doc. idk why i added this i saw this ColeyDoesThings vid of her going through her mom's old star wars fanwork collection and she said it was mostly from forums which is kinda like what this place is. i probably just need to dig deeper on other sites. *cries in rarepair shipper ;w;*

i think there's a website-wide problem where uploaded images aren't loading so i can't see ur drawing but i'm sure it's great :-). also i reckon the lack of fanfic here is a) because there's waaaay more places (which are blatantly better) for uploading that and b) because this sort of website is for more personal connections, like blogging about how your day went or trying to connect with other people over shared interests. in saying that, i think i saw a roleplay forum in the groups section ? so... it's not like there's no one here who does it lol, just not really common.
yeah you're def right. i just thought since a lot of people like to act like they're actually from the era of myspace they'd probably commit to the bit or something? idk it was a dumb thought. also i had no clue about the image thing. i must have gotten pretty lucky to not have ran into that problem yet lol

maybe its just a handful of us then. also i had no idea myspace was a fanfic haven lol, i've never used it, haven't even seen what it looked like. i'm only on here cuz it's better than doomscrolling instagram
