Yes, their harmonies on "Good Vibrations" are a good as The Beatles and I am a huge Beatles fan!
That movie that I posted is pretty sad and hard to watch at times because he had a rough life struggling with mental problems and drug addictions due to a controlling doctor and manager but he did manage to eventually turn his life around and return to the band and his fans while outliving both of his younger brothers as well.
I'm a Beatles fan as well, and agree that the Beach boys harmonies are equally as good if not better. Unique yet distinguishable.
Oh right, I know nothing about Brian's earlier life, his struggles with addiction etc. Well at least he had the strength and determination to eventually turn his life around and get back on track; that takes some doing... :)
