Bird's Nest fungi! Tiny (less than 1cm) and whimsical! I don't see these guys too often! "Bird's nest fungi" refers to a group of fungi species that resemble nests, down to the spore pod "eggs"!

You may be inclined to call this critter a spider, but "daddy-long-legs" or "harvestmen" are actually part of a group called "Opiliones" and are closer to mites than true spiders! Harvestmen are completely harmless to humans as they produce no venom and their fangs are too weak to bite our skin. I love seeing them run around, their legs are so thin they look like floating circles.

The beautiful but invasive Bugleweed. Native to Europe but brought to North America for aesthetic use in gardens.

MILLIPEDE ALERT

Oxeye Daisy, another example of an invasive species introduced through the gardening industry. Can you tell I despise the lack of regulations when it comes to introducing non-native species? Photo came out nice, though!

Bladder campion! One of the more unique flowers I've come across. They look so alien!
