Late 200's and Early 2010's grit.

Movies form this time frame had a certain "Gotta be dark to be cool" level of edge to them. As a person who was born in 2007, I remember this era well. Every movie I walked in on my parents watching had this level of grittiness to it. Stuff like Real Steel, Transformers (2007), and even stuff like Godzilla (2014) had  this grit to them. I kinda miss it. .-.
