🔪 My Favorite SAW Traps by Frankie 🕷️
Hello, little victims of misery and mayhem 👁️
Today on Gore & More, we dive deep into a franchise that changed my horror brain chemistry forever:
SAW – the festival of pain, blood, and “morality.”
John Kramer aka Jigsaw doesn’t kill anyone (technically), but he sure puts you in the worst therapy session of your life.
Like:
💡“Wanna live? Then cut your leg off with a rusty blade in under 60 seconds.”
Uplifting. Motivational. Iconic.
Here are the traps that scarred me — emotionally and a little physically (in spirit):
🐷 1. The Reverse Bear Trap (SAW I – Amanda’s Test)
The queen of all traps.
A metal contraption clamped to the face, ready to snap open like a bear trap — in reverse.
Amanda survives because she finds the key inside an unconscious man’s stomach.
Poetic. Gory. Legendary.
🧠 Psychological horror: 10/10
💉 Gore potential: limitless
📷 Meme value: eternal
👀 2. The Needle Pit (SAW II)
AKA the worst nightmare for anyone scared of needles.
Amanda again (poor girl) is thrown into a pit full of dirty syringes to dig for a key.
Just thinking about it makes my skin itch.
🧠 NOPE level: 1000%
🦠 Infection vibes: immaculate
💉 For masochists only
🔒 3. The Rack (SAW III)
Easily one of the most painful to watch.
A man is strapped into a rig that slowly twists his limbs one by one… and then the neck.
It’s slow. Mechanical. Brutal.
Kind of like Monday morning, but with bone crunches.
🧠 Sound design: Oscar-worthy
🦴 Crunchy ASMR
😱 Sympathy level: disturbing
🧩 4. The Pendulum Trap (SAW V)
A guy is chained down while a giant blade swings lower and lower over his stomach.
To stop it, he has to crush his hands in two metal presses.
It’s one of the most aesthetic traps ever.
Haunting, theatrical. Like if Edgar Allan Poe was into industrial horror.
🔪 Elegance: gothic dream
🖼️ Horror museum material: yes
🖐️ Hand pain: eternal
🔥 5. The Furnace Trap (SAW II)
Someone has to crawl into a burning furnace to grab a syringe.
Of course, once he’s inside… the door slams shut and the flames rise.
Human BBQ, Jigsaw style.
🔥 Heat: unbearable
🥩 Cook level: medium rare
💀 Life choices: tragic
🧠 Why do we love these traps?
Because SAW isn’t just about pain — it’s about choices.
It’s body horror + guilt + a sick timer.
And yes: sometimes I root for the trap. Don’t judge me.
💬 What about you?
Which trap made you go: “Nope. Never. Not even for a million bucks”?
Tell me. Message me. Yell at me in all caps.
Here on Gore & More, we respect pain… artistically.
Until next time,
— Frankie 🕷️
