Okay, I know this might get a lot of peoples' panties in a bunch. Idc. There is a massive, massive, MASSIVE problem with underage ppl on here being openly sexual and acting as if it's okay to make their personality partially or wholly about sex. Sexuality is not inherently bad. However, when minors on here make themselves targets for the sake of being "freaky", it's really not ok.ย
I was initially just going to ignore it, but there was a 15 year old [hopefully roleplaying] that sent me a frq. His bio was something about him being hypersexual, countryhuman ecchi was all over his profile, and he claimed his 23 y.o. sister was his girlfriend. This is not fucking ok. You are barely in high school and you're engaging in adult topics, ones that are illegal.
Teenage sexuality is not bad, it's natural, it's ok to explore. But don't do it in public or in any way that could put you in danger or be risky. You should not be thinking that taboos such as incest and pedophilia are ok. Don't care if it's proshipping, hypersexuality, etc etc. It's not okay, it's not a healthy coping mechanism, whatever your excuse is for it. Sexuality is not meant to be put on blast, not when you are a child and don't understand that you're putting yourself out like prey for a bear to maul. Now, I am not saying it's the child's fault for thinking it's okay to do this, but it doesn't excuse their actions. You are a child fucking act like one, you are not an adult. You can engage in whatever stuff you want to do online with your sexuality when you're that age, but until then, keep it private. For your own good and others.
Putting yourself out there as a child is not a coping mechanism, engaging in illegal "kinks" is not a coping mechanism, being fucking gross is not a coping mechanism or whatever u people use as an excuse. There is no excuse.

Hey not to be a twat, I get what you are trying to say because you are right it is unhealthy but lets not promote shaming children for having to deal with trauma responses from being exposed to sexual imagery or experiences at a young age???
I had to deal with Hypersexuality from the ages of about 6-16 due to sexual trauma and I was disgusted in myself every day until I searched for proper help for my issues. shaming these children just isolates them and causes them to hate themselves even more, they need support to break free from these mindsets.
The example you gave about the 15 year old, it sounds like his sister is at fault for his behaviours. These people need help, not to be shamed off of the internet. Suffering in silence doesn't make them go away, it just makes you feel better about the fact you can pretend these children don't exist when in actuality you don't even need to interact with these children who are hurting. You can scroll instead of complaining about someone else's trauma on the internet because it makes you uncomfortable.

Honestly I'm glad that this is pointed out since a lot of People my age (14) add me on discord and at first I don't think much of it but then they stat asking for explicit photos and when I say I'm uncomfortable with that the don't leave me alone (even after I block them)
About a few days ago a guy one year older than me came up with a sob story and said that my noodles would solve all his problems and make him feel better and when I said no I got send a pic without a warning and got flashed even though I tried to get this guy help multiple times and try to make him feel better without any sexual acts or messages
I think people that are online and talking to other people their age (underaged people) and sending them unwanted stuff is wrong and ILLEGAL (since obviously due to the distribution of cp) and I want people that do this to get help or find ways to restrain themselves

speaking as a minor myself, Iโm glad that someone finally spoke up about this topic bc I really hate seeing people like that expose themselves in such ways, and it makes it even more worrying when they expose their sexual life to literally anyone on the internet without knowing how vulnerable they could end up being to a predator (and itโs also just straight up disturbing see minors acting like that).
It truly is sad. Personally, I will share one thing and one thing only with anyone on the internet in this regard "AroAce" And I say that is okay, but just outright talking about it makes you so vulnerable to preds and what not.

I totally agree with you, and in fact, I come to realize that the contact of people as young as me have with this kind of subject, unfortunately. It is not a matter that teenagers cannot be "curious" or things as long as they are not facing any danger with a certain kind of people is all right, but it seems that the case is much more different.
I mean, I know a 9 or 10 yo boy who often makes sex jokes that treat girls like objects. Idk how this can come to a child, but think it's related to the return of misogyny that occupies social networks as a form of humor. It's a pity that many parents cannot have control over the influences received by their children on the internet.
It is really sad that this is happening. A 9 year old should not be making those jokes.

i think a large problem is that there are no online spaces just for kids anymore.
no more sites like cartoon network, club penguin, nickelodeon, etc.
when i was growing up, sites like that were common and were where i gravitated towards to spend my time online. sure, i made a myspace too but i didnt spend much time on it and really just wanted to make a cool looking profile lol. idk its a complex issue but also parents should monitor their kids more idk

As a 14 year old I agree with you. Normal teenage sexuality is having a girlfriend or boyfriend. I sometimes despair at some of the things that some of my peers put online as well as how freely they give out personal information. Talking about your girlfriend or boyfriend as a person is appropriate. Going into all sorts of lewd details is not appropriate and potentially opens you up to attention from the wrong type of people.

THIS is the type of thing they should be teaching about internet safety, not only "don't give your password to anyone". Sexuality is completely normal for teens but like please don't put it out here... Tere's a shit ton of predators online, including those who pretend to be underage.
I've also noticed minors openly talking about being hypersexual. Don't get me wrong, we need to raise awareness about sexual abuse/trauma survivors and the long-term effects of it and you don't deserve to struggle with it in silence nobody deserves to suffer in silence with it, but please understand that if you make it public people might take advantage of your vulnerable/unstable position.
"But it won't happen to me" it's better to be safe than sorry.

YES YES YES. it's normal to have sexual experiences when you're a teenager but don't expose those experiences (or even traumas!!!) on the internet!! it's really dangerous. teens need to understand that the internet should not be used as a dairy. bring PHYSICAL diaries, WRITING ON PAGES and make therapy affordable for the love of god (โ โฏโ ๏ธตโ โฐโ ,โ )
