I found my mother’s blog a few years ago and i couldn’t help but think that i’ve let her down a lot. I’m not the daughter she’s always wanted and I don’t think I could ever be
seeing the way she was excited to raise me and even got the things i liked as a daughter made me feel that i should be paying this back to her someway somehow
Especially with the fact that I’m adopted it just hits in a way that i don’t really know how to describe properly.

I understand it, I have been there too, but here is the truth, you will never be able to pay her back for the time energy, and resources she invested and she might never ask you to do so, but what really matters is that you have to do your best, trust me when I say this she might be the only person in your life that will want to see you do better than her, and as long as you are building something either for her or for yourself she will always be there to support you and she only wants to see you do good enough, just show her that you are building something in your life and you are happy about it
