i checked out your profile since you commented on my blog and thought it was perfect that you've recently(ish) posted a similar thing to me! so i figured i'd check out the songs you suggested!
taking these 5 at a time because otherwise i'd get listening fatigue by the end of the list and would have no thoughts on any of them lol
back it up - i feel like i'd love to have a vinyl of songs similar to this one to play in the background to set atmosphere. its very cool
burn - obsessed with the whole hot chicks singing rock vibe that they've got going on. the song is not exactly my cup of tea but i appreciate it nonetheless
sell yourself lightly - i really like the sound of this song, i love a good guitar. and overall the vibe is really nice. i love the rise and falls of it
we own you - this kind of gives musical vibes??? like beetlejuice or something. or a disney villain song. thats all i can really say since the song is not really for me, i feel
dancing barefoot - omg i know this song!!!! i didn't recognise it from the name but i know it! its the intro to the daisy jones and the six tv show!! it was so nice to actually hear the whole song instead of just the snippet from the show lol. this is my favourite from this batch of songs so far. i love the vibe and sound and its very fleetwood mac-y. its just been added to my liked songs and like 6 playlists
alright and i shall return another time to listen to more songs!! this was fun!

okay i am back for another 5 songs!!
exeunt - i like the oh hellos ! though i really only know them for sodier poet king. omg i am in love with the instrumentation of this song. makes me want to listen to the whole album this song belongs to, especially since soldier poet king is on the same album. it has been saved to my library for future listening, i think i'll do a proper listen to the whole album
we get by - omg she sings and plays violin at the same time??? she's so cool, i'm obsessed with her. this is who i want to be when i grow up, i need to relearn the violin. i love this so much. it has been added to a few playlists, i expect to love it even more after a few more listens. (i watched the audiotree live version because it was the first that showed up, idk if thats the one you were recommend or not)
allies or enemies - omg just by that opening guitar i knew i was going to love this song. her voice is so gorgeous ohh!!! this is 100% my vibe. OBSESSED.
i want more - love me some violin <3 and his voice is so beautiful. ooh and the acapella outro is cool too
the creature from the black leather lagoon - i didn't like this song at first but its kind of a vibe actually. bit silly but in a good way. i can definitely imagine this playing at some cool 80s party or something

be my fire - the chorus is a little too repetitive for me lol but its a very cool song!! love a good simple rock song
scavenger on the wind - love the guitar on this omg, its so cool. this song is such a good mood-setter, i think i might show this to one of my friends sometime, i feel like they'd love this. very "goblin rock" as they'd call it
let me down easy - love gang of youths. also this gives bleachers too who i also love. i was kind of waiting for a rise in vocal power though the whole time. like the music changed but the vocals stayed the same which was interesting. i need to listen to more gang of youths though, their music is so good.
loud bark - not my thing but i appreciate it. the vocals are really raw and emotional which i love.
can i be your lover - i've been meaning to check out lime cordiale because they're australian and my mum's going to see their concert sometime this year i think. this song is very cool and i definitely think i should check out the rest of their stuff at some point

ooh yes i love "achilles come down" too!! also "the deepest sighs, the frankest shadows", especially the gretta ray cover of it. i just found out gang of youths is also aussie, they won a couple of spots of the top 100 of triple j's hottest australian songs.

vampire lover - love the name of both the song and the band!! i love songs that make up stories like this. very buffy the vampire slayer core which i love.
satanised - cool song!! also gives buffy vibes or just general mystical vibes.
enchanté - ooh omg the instrumentation on this is SO COOL!! and the muffled vocal effect is so cool too. kind of feels a bit like its being played on an old fashioned music player which is neat.
here comes the rain again - i like the first half of the song!!! nearly added it to my liked songs. not a huge fan of scream-singing though unfortunately.
i want it all - i can barely understand what shes saying in the verses lol. but i love a good pop song and i like the vibe of this song
