holes in flesh

today i finally got my eyebrow piercing removed and got my labret done. ive been meaning to get my eyebrow piercing taken out for the past 6 months or so, but i just havent gotten around to it. ive had it for 3 or 4 years and it just never fully healed. it was constantly irritated and itchy and i was just sick of it. i guess it took me so long to get it removed because, despite how big of a pain in the ass it was, i really liked it. id wanted it since i was like 11 years old and it was probably one of my favorite piercings, definitely within the top 3. finally getting it removed felt like finally ghosting your toxic situationship. its the right choice, but it still hurts a little. 

while i was brushing my teeth before bed i was contemplating my new setup. i feel naked without my eyebrow piercing. i feel unfinished, like i just loaded in and im not done rendering yet. i knew i would feel naked so i decided to finally get my labret pierced while i was at the shop. 

ive wanted to get my lip pierced for ages, but ive never had an oral piercing before and i had a lot of reservations about it. i totally love it, im still pretty anxious about it. im nervous about bumping it or biting down on it too hard and chipping a tooth. i wasnt expecting to be able to hear it scraping against my teeth. lots of new unusual sensations to get used to. im still getting used to eating with it. it took me like an hour and a half to finish a bowl of udon earlier. i dont have much food that doesnt require chewing, so im gonna down like 3 glasses of chocolate milk before bed lmfao
