so for context i havnt always been a metalhead or someone within the βalternativeβ umbrella, i used to be a total douchbag b4 I converted to Christianity (i was homophobic, sexist, racist etc) this was about like 2022 to late 2023 and even then it took me a whole year to finally achieve being βmyselfβ ( whole backstory thing is too long to explain)
this βfriendβ i have hasnβt changed a single bit. He keeps tryna βfit inβ with the βpopular kidsβ (whole all collectively hate and bully him) and now that he knows im βalternativeβ, he hates my frickinβ guts and FUCK I hate the man too, ive tried to level with him about his stupid ambitions but hes just absolutely brainwashed on the idea of bein popular, has been since lockdown..Β
Anyways i used to be scared of showing him my interests, only recently i have displayed myself to him as a metalhead via fashion and sharing music, he doesnβt sit with me anymore in class and talks shit about me.
Iβve tried and tried to get him to snap the fuck back to reality but itβs no use, hes genuinely unpleasant to be around. I want to stop being friends with him altogether but itβd just hurt too much cuz weβve been friends for like 5 years, but ik that the more i stay ill just get hurt more and more.
im planning to beat the shit outa him someday, and eventually when we leave school ill ditch him altogether.

Don't associate yourself with him anymore. You're the main character and he's the NPC, don't stoop down as low as to care about someone who treats you like that
Distract yourself with your interests/hobbies, or in worse case scenario do beat up that guyπΉ

Wow yeah the whole βpopularityβ thing is so immature and silly. Honestly donβt even like try and argue with him anymore imo just leave him be. When he starts actually thinking and snaps back into it heβll realize how stupidly heβs acting and maybe actually come and apologize to you
