SpaceHey: What Can YOU Do to Help?

i've already made a blog like this before, but that was mainly sharing my general perspective on the websites improvement. I'm creating this to share what you can do to help.  my wording may be a bit off sorry but please enjoy :3


SpaceHey is absolutely one of my favorite websites ever. I am obsessed with older internet & technology and to experience partly of what Myspace once was is SO cool to me!! i've met so many cool folks here and coding and everything is just so so so cool! It's great to have a place so unique nowadays that doesnt profit off of selling your data to investors and keeping you hooked with short form content. All of these things make Spacehey the lovely site that it is!! 

However, The thing about Spacehey is that it is run COMPLETELY off of donations. and by a college student, no less. Donations are what keeps your HTML and Blingees afloat. Donations let you IM those people with the cool profile code. Donations keep EVERYTHING on the site alive. Anything helps, even ifs little. While I (at the time of writing this blog) dont have the funds to donate due to the fact i need to save my money for personal things, i encourage you to donate. 

Aside from my argument that donations keep the site generally alive, More donations = More money = more features for the site!! I know that a photo gallery has been wanted for SO LONG by people, especially my Scene, Emo & other alternative friends hahaha. An. himself has even stated how much he wants to add more and more features to the site. Alongisde that, If spacehey gets even more donations and funding, the moderation here can improve. Don't get me wrong, I know that the volunteer moderators are trying their best, but as the site grows, its going to need people who can be more capable and im not oblivious to the problems either.

The point is, please do what you can support Spacehey. Buy merch, donate. (you'll get a cool badge on your profile too!)

Do what you can to help make the changes the site needs. An. has a lot of power, but he can't do it without YOUR help. :3
