Loneliness

In silence, I feel lost

A solitary shadow, without direction or destiny

The world outside is full of life

But here inside, I feel empty and lifeless

My soul is a deserted ocean

Without waves, without wind, without anything to carry me

I feel like a dry leaf

Blown by the wind, without roots, without home

The night is my only companion

And even it leaves me alone, without comfort

I feel like a ghost

Trapped between the past and the present, without a future

But still, I hold on to hope

That one day, I will find my way

And loneliness will be just a memory

And I will find peace, joy, and love.
