PLEASE PREFERABLY RECOMMEND ME BOOKS ON MY FORUM POST https://forum.spacehey.com/topic?id=191667
for me and everyone out there,
one of my current goals is to replace the place where usually my phone is on my night table by books, and i even really look forward to replace my phone 100% by books
honestly
my relationship with my phone is quite unhealthy, since i re-downloaded
instagram and pinterest on it i have been catching myself doing 4-6
hours a day on my phone... fucking crazy right. look at all that lost
time. i lost entire years of my teenage years bc of that fucking 6
inches brick. im telling myself how can one scroll for so much time, it just feels impossible and unbelievable, but i have been doing this for entire years. watching yourself from another angle is terribly scary
i have now deleted all social media from my phone (even youtube) to just use them on my pc when i go on it, and if i really need them ill redownload then delete them again
though i have been reading more and more lately, has been going great so far, finishing dracula's book very soon and im gonna read LOTR series again. its just so good to not be read again, btw the books >> the movies. my parents got all the damn books even the hobbit, proud to have parents with cool ass interests hehe
and i have started photography as a hobby, gonna restart drawing soon, and playing guitar too, also looking forward to go outside more, every thursday precisely

My personal favorite book series are "The White Rabbit Chronicles" By Gena Showalter, though I read it when I was pretty young so I'm not sure how it holds up. I also love "Shatter Me" By Tahereh Mafi.

my bestfriend is reading a rlly cool book to me about animal senses and the umwelt theory called an immense world by ed yong. its crazy how big our world is that we can still find new things evrey single day
when i was a kid (middleschool i think) one of my fave books was the mysterios benedict society by trenton lee stewart, havnt read it in years but i bet it still holds up even tho its a ya book

) but it’s about our world far in the future where humanity has reached its peak in technology! Since no one dies anymore, people called Scythes are appointed to “glean” (kill) people at “random” and it talks about what it means to be human and stuff
