My Day!!! <3

🌙 Just a Chill Day (With a Side of Screams... and Guac)

Hey creeps 👁️
Not every day is a full-on horror marathon or a writing frenzy—and that’s okay. Today was one of those rare peaceful days where I got to unplug a little, recharge, and enjoy the small stuff. Honestly? Kinda perfect.

🎬 What I Watched

I started the day with a double feature of chaos and claustrophobia:

  • First up: a rewatch of Spree — still wild, still uncomfortable, and still making me wonder how many influencers out there are one follower away from losing it completely.

  • Then: As Above, So Below. I know it’s underrated, but I love it. The Paris catacombs, the alchemy, the feeling of being lost in a place where reality breaks apart? Mwah. Creepy comfort movie, honestly.

  • To balance it out, I threw on some South Park episodes later. I love how that show can go from absolutely stupid to accidentally deep in the same scene. It’s my go-to background noise when I want to laugh while scrolling or stretching out.

📖 A Little Nostalgia Trip

I also started rereading a childhood favorite: Goosebumps – Welcome to Camp Nightmare. I hadn’t picked it up since I was a kid, and wow—instant time travel. I remembered the twist ending just before it hit, but it still gave me chills in the best way. There’s something so charming about those early horror books… like a warm blanket.

🍽️ Dinner & Chill

For dinner, I kept it simple but satisfying: I had some guacamole (yes, I know it’s not horror-themed, but let’s pretend it’s the green ooze😅), and paired it with a couple of slices of ham. Weird combo? Maybe. But it hit the spot.

🧠 A Bit of Work, A Bit of Rest

Even on slower days, I try to move things forward. I wrote a couple articles for Gore & More (they’re in the drafts... something wicked this way comes 👀), and started sketching out ideas for logo. I want it to scream horror without being cliché. Think grainy VHS tape + creepy smile energy. We’ll see.

Also did some quick journaling, reorganized my tiny DVD shelf and took a short walk just to stretch my legs. Gotta keep the blood flowing, right?

🖤 Final Thoughts

Not every day needs to be a production. Sometimes, watching movies, eating weird comfort food, and revisiting creepy little books from your childhood is the perfect horror fan’s day off.

Hope you’re finding time to enjoy the little things too. And hey—if you’re rereading old Goosebumps books, bingeing horror flicks, or just want to talk about movies that live rent-free in your nightmares, you can always DM me. I'm always down to chat horror, share recs, or scream about cursed footage together.

Stay creepy, stay cozy, and don't trust the camp counselors.
