My Short Film

I'm currently writing, directing, and producing a short film almost entirely on my own. I've got a few amazing friends and my boyf helping me, shout out y'all I'm unimaginably grateful.

I'm hoping to start production this coming fall/winter, fingers crossed. It's gonna be a long process, not to mention post production's gonna be the best pain in my ass ever and i've bottomed with some gnarly looking things if you catch my drift.

I've been trying to consider and think about how I'm gonna market it? like i'm not trying to make any money off this project, maybe i'll make a patreon for behind the scenes footage but honestly i'd probably release thay after a while anyways. I'm not too concerned with the profit of the film, i'm making it because it's been playing on loop in my head for 3 years.

i just mean to get eyes on it, i want people to see my art. if i think its up to my standards maybe i'll put it in a film fest. i think a selfish part of me is hoping for a niche group of people to find it and LOVE it. small, loyal fanbase LMAO.

Anyway, I'm thinking of starting a YouTube channel, just kinda talk about whatever i want, but also with a focus on my writing and creativity. I've said that every year since i was 14 and i almost did it once to my dismay. 

Those videos were bad, they'll never see the light of day again.

Maybe this will finally be the year I start it, I think i'm too concerned with formatting and needing to have something BIG and MEANINGFUL to say, so i'll wrestle that demon and figure it tf out.
