Hey!!
For my first blog post I thought I'd share some of my photos :) I've really gotten into film photography this year and it's been a blast. Something about the rather time-consuming process (like developing and scanning the film) and the tangible nature of it has really helped my creativity thrive. Not to mention the cost of materials, which forces me to slow down, be more intentional and consider what I really want in my frame. Plus, learning the mechanics of an analog camera has improved my digital photography as well :P
So, here's a photo series called Dark Winter. It depicts the winter of 2024-2025 through a documentary lens. The images not only portray the literal darkness of the landscape during the season, but also my personal mental landscape of that time, which unfortunately was equally bleak. However, I really like how these turned out!
