jumping ship from windows 10 to linux

been considering moving from windows 10 to linux ever since the end of life thing got announced. planning on teaching myself how it works more, really liked linux mint and so far no other distro ive tested made me feel as comfortable but also from what i know cinnamon isnt as customizable as other desktop environments which is kind of a concern for me since i would really love to be able to customize it to my hearts content
