what music do YOU like

i have had alot of experiences that when i hear people talking about music they whould just say what is populair and mainstream. and there is noting wrong with liking populair mainstream music. but i just wonder, is that really what YOU like or are people scared to listen to new genres, scared to like something that is just a bit different? i personally think that a lot of people just lie about what music they like so they whoudnt be seen as weird or cringe. but the thing is,, does anyone really care? so what if you like to listen to metal, scene, county, or just something else. its not like the world is gonna end bc you like the music your friends dont like. just listen to whatever u want! you only live once so why spent ur time thinking about what others might think and do what u like!
