Writing another novel

I have this irrational fear that if I publically share anything of my great big novel, like, THE novel before it's finished for good something horrible will happen. Anyways, I got myself a little side project to help me de-stress and to avoid burnout. Well, I just dug up a damn old story and went with it.

I've always liked writing. Just, the idea of creation struck me. Already when I was twelve or so, I was out there writing whol bloody novels (although they were of dubious quality). So I dug the best one (which was actually a series of multiple manuscripts) and said fuck it, lets ddo that but do it right this time.

I had friends read these books back in the day, and I got a ton of advice from them regarding a possible reboot. So I broughtout the fan-favourite supporting character and promoted him to protagonist. This also means a pretty big narrative change, where the timeline had to be tweaked a bit, and we also start at a waaay different location.

Anyways, the general vibe is some kind of philosophy-infested fantasy about a prince (and later king) type of guy who REALLY does not want to be in any kind of position of power. Since with this piece I have no superstitions of a curse promptly hitting me on my head if I talk about it, it makes for some wonderful blog content. I have a lot to figure out about this, despite the sbundance of source material, because those old manuscripts are messy as all hell and need a lot of changes. So I shall see if I remember to document any developements on here.
