Cousins, Chaos & Creeps

Mood: 🍝📚🤬 Divine chaos with a pinch of rage

WE WERE AT IT AGAIN. Me and my cousins in the kitchen, acting like we’re hosting the world’s most chaotic cooking show—today’s special: pasta from scratch. And somehow, we contemplated starting a YouTube channel (AGAIN), because honestly? The amount of nonsense we talk while cooking could keep people fed and entertained for days. Household drama, bitching about distant relatives, teachers, that one annoying auntie next door... we bonded deeply today over our shared hatred of one particular nosy neighbor lady. Healing.

Also, I’ve been looping "I love you, I’m sorry" by Gracie Abrams like my life depends on it. That girl gets it. I swear, Gracie, Billie Eilish, and Lana Del Rey are like the holy trinity of emotional resonance. AND YES—I got one of my cousins hooked on Billie and Lana. She LITERALLY thanked me. Like, "Minnie, where have they been all my life?" I cried. My cultural influence is unmatched.

Now, for the not-so-divine part: PEOPLE ON DISCORD. I’m so sick of the creeps. Some random dude slid into my DMs with "hey baby" and I swear I almost threw my phone across the room. Ew. No. What do you mean "can I see you baby :(" ??? GET OFF. I only use Discord to talk to my online friends and fellow girlies. Can men not be normal for one day?

Okay, rant over. The day was still divine overall. I studied (yay me) and honestly? I loved it. My little study high is back.

OH and before I forget—BOOK RECOMMENDATION ALERT. If you're even slightly into Hindu mythology/Mahabharata and Ramayana (or love fiction that ties in mythology), please read The Hidden Hindu by Akshat Gupta. It’s a trilogy and oh my god I’m obsessed. It mixes mythology, mystery, and fiction so perfectly. It’s LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
