I agree with you. I'm a proshipper and I don't mind if people ship problematic things, as long as they don't romanticize it. The reason why I don't like those proshippers from tiktok because I've got strong feeling that they ship it only because it's problematic

The media we create and consume does say a lot about our character depending on our perspectives on it.
Its ok to read lolita in the same way its ok to read mein kampf but theres a difference between idolizing and fetishizing the ideas portrayed and challenging them.
If i agree with the ideas in mein kampf id be a nazi but if i enjoyed lolita because of the pedophilic aspects im not a pedophile?
Media thats controversial isnt always bad but the way it is often consumed is if it doesnt challenge the immoral ideas presented.
People writing fanfics about minors being sexually abused may be trying to get the reader to ask questions and be opposed to the subject like in lolita. But thats not what proshipping is a lot of the time, proshipping tends to be a bastardisation of actual abuse that fetishizes and sexualizes in immoral ways for the purpose of pleasure.
