Experience so far, and then some other stuff

I really like how much I can yap in this website. Other blog/journal websites let you do much of the same stuff, true. However, I think I prefer the simplicity of SpaceHey; it’s very rustic and quaint. I think there being minimal ads is also nice, one thing I always disliked about Xitter (formerly Twitter) is the amount of ads I’d see everyday. I’ve only seen one spam account so far, but I’ve already reported it. Hopefully the moderators can respond as soon as possible. My internet died for about half a hour before I could send the report though, so thanks a lot Mr. ISP! (small update: The spam account got suspended !!! Yay !!!)

The people here specifically? They’re ok..? We all seem to be operating under a “yap and let yap” rule of some sort. Although, I notice that there’s a lot of newly made accounts using the pretty layouts that people have made, then never going back online. A lot of minors as well, I’ve only ever seen a handful of people here above 18. To be fair, my shitty laptop sometimes freezes when someone’s CSS is too pretty for it to handle, so I don’t usually like to check random people’s profiles unless they had an interesting blog or two. Another reason is also because people would sometimes have VHS/CRT filters with the waving UI and it just makes me dizzy. Not that I’m trying to police what you want to put in your own personal profile, it’s just a personal skill issue of mine.

This isn’t actually my first time on SpaceHey, just my first time trying to actually use it as a blogging website. I actually made my first account in 2021 or so, but I deleted it because I never saw a reason to use it. I made this account a month ago because I was bored, lol. > . > Plus, the fact that the overall aesthetic of the website hasn’t changed since then appealed to me. I just really like this vibe a lot. I do wish I hadn’t deleted that old account, I could’ve bragged about being an OG!! (Even though I didn’t even use the website at all except to suffer in CSS and HTML)

That’s more or less it, really. Cool website with cool people that aren’t really here most of the time. I mean they talk but you get what I mean
