SIRENS CALL.
And as I'm standing there expiring
I watch as your eyes start wonderfully perspiring
I learn to accept that why I was drowning
It wasn't you; it wasn't her
It wasn't the sirens silent crowning
it was myself pulling me under
It was me who trashed my wonder
But as I gasp for airĀ
You start laughing
You had shown me every ounce of care
And you watch me step up to these waves that trap me
You throw your hand of lead
And see my wounded arm
I sink upon the ocean bed
Its cold, its dark, and no one is there
