So, there's this pc game from 98 called elder scrolls 2:daggerfall, and man its such a hard game, it kind of makes sense because in the 90s it was common for the games to be brutal, like baldurs gate 1 or fallout 1/2, but jesus daggerfall is another level of hard, you have to research just to even begin the game, if you don't research about character creation, what u need to put stats on, advantages, disavantages, and that's not the worst.
The Dungeons, Man the dungeonsssss, they are a nightmare, they are massive, you often get lost every time, and every quest get's you on hour long dungeons, and on my pc especially, the map lags so much, so i cant even properly understand the dungeons, and sometimes the objetives are hidden behind secret walls, that sucks so much
but one thing i got to say, it would be so cool for a modern day daggerfall, it has so much potential, the procedurally generation of that game is insane, such a big map, you can talk to every npc, enter every house, and in general it's so cool it's concept, but for being a 1998 game made in 1 year it ends up being very flawed, but i think a modern day daggerfall with less hard mechanics, more procedurally generated content and overall a more worked in main quest, it would a fantastic game.

oh daggerfall is not for the faint of heart, its quite dated lol. and also borderline unplayable by modern standards unless you have the unity version and get some qol mods. i played like 3 minutes of it before i decided i was way happier sticking with the other TES games. but i will one day return and actually try to beat it because its such a unique game. i do also feel that baldurs gate 1 and 2 are easier by a ton. the combat is slightly less infuriating because you have 6 party members
yeah, tbh i only played skyrim on my 360, tough experience because it crashed each 30 minutes, so i lost a lot of progress, but still one of my favorite games, should i play oblivion? i tried to play on my 360 too and idk, pretend to return, and morrowind never tried, and am scared to try it tbh, it's such a open and free experience that it looks very very hard to get started.

You should definitely play oblivion! It's a really good game though it does have a bit of a slower start, and also the combat and leveling is really awful so I would suggest playing it on easy or on pc with mods that fix it. Morrowind is also quite fun! It can be confusing at the start but i genuinely think it's the best elder scrolls game. There are plenty of built guides if your character ends up not being able to kill anything but honestly you just get used to it. I love morrowind

Do you thunk will it work on my pc? Im trying to play but for some reason every game have suddens fps drops, even games like smash bros melee, the only that doesnt happens that are celeste and old minecraft, so i was thinking to play oblivion on my 360 and openmw on pc, is that a good idea or is it better i sacrifice the fps for less bugs?

That could work! You could try to play oblivion on your pc too if it lets you just because it's a really old game so it might not have the same issues other games do. Morrowind is a terrible experience on consoles from what I know so pc is really the only option. I will say that frames aren't that important to the experience. My old pc was really bad and even morrowind ran at like 10fps on lowest settings but I still enjoyed it! You stop noticing how laggy it is after a while lol

well time to start morrowind, just installed openmw, im playing a breton for a battlemage class, is that any good? it's a very brutal game so optimization is very important

A breton battlemage is a good choice! While morrowind can be a tough game it's not that bad i think. It's pretty difficult to make a character that can't beat the game. In oblivion it's actually kind of difficult to make a character that scales well into later levels but morrowind is pretty forgiving all things considered! If you ever get stuck anywhere don't be afraid to look it or up or ask me, I'm always open to talking about morrowind lol (or if you just generally have any more questions)

Man...., the game is laggy, when you said is 10fps, its really 10fps, it doesnt runsss, i put the view distance very low, so theres a lot of fog, but still, the fps constantly drops to 13-17, and also what a brutal combat, found the falling wizard, got his stuff, and suffered fighting a worm, after that i got into a cave, got brutally destroyed, tried 5 times, gave up, advanced, found another cave, got brutally destroyed again, why god:(((

Welcome to the morrowind experience! In hindsight maybe a mage wasn't the best pick for first playthrough since they can be tricky to play but I think you'll get the hang of it.? Just make sure not to go into combat with 0 fatigue (empty green bar) since it lowers your chances of successfully casting a spell. You can also try to physically dodge enemy attacks by kiting backwards while casting spells at them. Potions help too! Also yeah the fps, don't force yourself to play if it makes you sick or something but i got used to it eventually

My character is blind, i find myself on a 40 second fight against a kwama forager because i end up missing all the attacks, and also the fps is weird, i look to a certain place is a especific fps, i look to the other it drops, if i look down it ups??? Also how do i restore mana, im trying to rest but is not working
