Gone But Not Forgotten

Brian Wilson has passed away. RIP. 

Though I don’t actively listen to surf music, there was a time during my teens when my brother went through the Beach Boys phase and inadvertently got me hooked too. He would play their greatest hits album on a loop. For weeks on end. Drove me up the wall at first, but eventually I got into the groove. I still remember the lyrics to many of their songs.

And this particular one was playing the night my husband and I first met, New Years Eve 1995.
