adding friends

can we normalize not adding people  under 16 if you're like 18 or older?

I added bunch of people not knowing their ages, after knowing their ages i simply unfollowed them and explained the reason.

They told me that it doesn't matter and kinda called me names.... and now I'm the bad guy? Like, excuse me, what can I possibly talk about with 13 years old?

I don't understand,I really don't.

To me personally, I add people not to talk with them all the time or even at all, and they don't either. I see it the same way as Instagram, just because a dozen different, or even a small hand full of people follow me, doesn't necessarily mean I am associated with them. I merely follow them back, just because they followed me, since Spacehey is a platform where you need to follow others to keep seeing their content (Blogs, bulletins) unless you want to search up their username all the time. I'm sorry to hear you got called names though, that was uncalled for :'(

But your opinion is valid~ and I can respect a person setting boundaries with others, especially minors.

Y'know, I feel like some people here who are younger than 16 are so comfortable (ifykyk) and I'm not really comfortable with that especially when they try to add me. Like it's not a dating app and YOU'RE STILL A MINOR , like tf
There should be boundaries and when I set boundaries,I get called names:')
