Let's talk about: Frodo Baggins

This is my first actual blog, like my first serious blog. But anyways... I would often see comments in different sorts of social media platforms saying that Frodo was an irritating character. I was talking to an old friend of mine a few months ago about Lord of the Rings and I told him that Frodo is my Favorite character because I think he's genuinely good and well-written. He disagreed, of course, elling me that he was whiny and annoying. I'm honestly so exhausted of people perceiving him in that way. He was like that for a reason, the damn hobbit was carrying around a ring of pure evil tr destroy it, of course he'd act out because of the influence it has on whoever carries it. The One Ring was badly affecting him during the whole journey and I don't blame him, he's a hero, just like the rest of the fellowship. I appreciate him as a whole, he was so brave, honorable, kind, and so very precious to me (pun not intended). I think he deserves more love, more than he already has. He willingly volunteered to take the ring to Mordor when nobody wouldn't, when the ring's energy was practically seeping through itself. Frodo's goated and nobody can convince me otherwise.
