quitting weed

i should probably quit weed for a month or so, maybe even a year. but right now i can tell im feening for weed. its actually kinda pathetic and exactly the reason i should stop, because why am i feening for weed? it doesnt improve my life at all, i just get to feel good doing nothing lol. but the urge to smoke something is really strong, so im considering rolling a disgusting cigarette. KIDS DONT DO DRUGS! it just ends up being a pain in your ass, because your brain chemistry is permanently altered when you get hit with the instant dopamine - a reward for doing bad things. i gotta stay strong, eventually being sober will get easier.

I wish you the best, deciding you want to quit is already a great step in the right direction. The thing with stopping "smoking" is that you're trying to stop both weed and tobacco at the same time. Maybe by switching to another way of consuming weed you won't feel the same urge ? Stopping cold turkey is hard so planning the way you will reduce consumption is key. People trying to stop tobacco are often triggered by seeing other people smoke so getting rid of your use of cigarettes could help a lot

i dont actually smoke tobacco unless im smoking weed. unfortunately i hate pure weed joints and i must admit, i am addicted to the combination of nicotine and weed hitting me at the same time. however, i dont actually smoke cigarettes at all, thats just when im so desperate to smoke and i only have my baggie of tobacco at house, but no weed. but youre right, probably because im quitting both, im having a hard time.

Have you considered switching to edibles ? As they take time to make (bake ?) it might help you slow down your cravings while giving you something to do in the meantime to occupy your mind. It can also help you stop tobacco first (and is thus healthier). It's just some quick thoughts so take this with a grain of salt but I think it may be worth trying.
