I LOVE BEING KIND!!!

Dude, I love being nice so much. I love not holding grudges. I love not judging people.

I have so much whimsy. So joyous. I have a pocket full of sunshine. I never judge a book by its cover. Life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but I can make it a bit better for the people around me.

I don’t get why some people just choose hatred. I feel so happy when I give someone a compliment, or show someone something I love. I feel so happy when others are, too. I don’t care if someone is “cringe.” As long as they are happy and not harming anyone, I don’t care. If it is something I disagree with, I just ignore it.

But this doesn’t mean I don’t have a sort of punk passion towards certain topics. If someone is against LGBTQ, and actively— keyword, actively— goes against the community to harm people, then I won’t respect them. And I will have anger towards them. But that is in the occasions where I believe anger is justified. I am allowed to my own emotions. Others are as well, but it’s a matter of keeping thoughts to yourself or doing something rash about it.

I find it odd that some people hate on therians, furries, and people with neopronouns. They are just expressing themselves. Furries are no different than cosplayers, really. Therians are just having fun and most often, it’s kids that are therians (in general, I don’t know of any adult therians, but I’m sure there are some out there) and they’re just having fun! People with neopronouns just have a different way of connecting with identity. It isn’t too confusing imo, it’s similar to a nickname. Cat/catself; Oh that book was cat’s, cat is over there by catself. It isn’t too hard! And most of the time they use they/them or a binary pronoun as well!

I’m rambling now. Point is, just leave people be. If you disagree, you can politely tell them that, but don’t send hate to them.

Being kind feels so good. Sometimes I’m kind just out of spite. My art teacher was a nightmare at the beginning of the semester, but being nice and perfect out of spite? Now I genuinely like her! She really is a good teacher, she just has disrespectful students.

Be nice. Just for the hell of it if nothing else. It saves you anger. It saves you the trouble of hating people. It improves your self esteem to know that maybe life is worth it, even just a little.

So there’s my stance.

Just felt like ranting a bit, no real reason lmao.

TL;DR, I love being kind because it saves me trouble plus judgmental people kinda suck.

THAT'S SO TRUE!!! Being kind and generally trying to be emotionally available for every person is wonderful. It actively requires for you to put yourself in other persons shoes.
While being hateful and spiteful, and thinking that everything is "cringe" is really easy, it actively takes joy from that persons life due to their own, or societal prejudice. Sad stuff.

Tho, I agree that the kindness and understanding should be limited to when that person threatens safety of others self expression, and well-being. p:

As long as you don't hurt yourself and other people, every form of self expression should be welcome.
