heyy people, and today i made gumbo... erm so i lwk got impatient on the roux so the broth isnt as dark as i would like it to be, buttttt it still tasted decent; tell me what yall think of it

Where's the juice
this is rice & gravy. Gumbo supposed to be like a soup 🍲
thats cuz when i took this picture all the juices got absorbed into the rice already

While it does it look like a mean gumbo combination, your rice not supposed to absorb it all
gumbo legit supposed to look like a soup. The juice supposed to cover it all so it won't happen like that.
