Weekly Entry #4 || Main Street Trip and 3D Model Fun || 09-June-2025

What Did Obie Get Up to This Week?

I drove to main street with my sister, I worked, and I 3D modeled. I also have been trying to scour Deltarune for secrets. Still haven't looked at any Deltarune content online, I wanna have the satisfaction of figuring stuff out myself. I'm also gonna cut my hair tonight (just a trim, it's bugging the heck outta me).

Main Street

Main street was fun. We went to the candy store and the antique shop. We were going to get ice cream, but the place is closed on Mondays :( I ended up buying some candy cigs, some honey candy, and cow tails for my brother. I let my sister drive there since usually it's an easy drive (she's a new driver) but of course there was construction and we had to park somewhere weird lol.

Work

Work was good, not too busy, but not dead either, got my mind off of stuff for a bit. I love (most of) my coworkers (we'll get to that in a second, angry rant incoming...) and they make working there a lot of fun.

So two work rants:

Rant 1: The two new guys (one especially) are addicted to their phones and it makes me mad. When they're not on their phones on the job, they're talking about not being able to be on their phones. Maybe it's because they're fairly new, but they stand around a lot... I show them stuff to do, like stocking the shelves or sweeping, we have a checklist for when you're idle, but they just end up doing nothing anyway. Maybe it's my fault, maybe I'm a tryhard bootlicker, but I don't think so, my bosses are nice people who'd stand up for me. I don't think they should tolerate the disrespect. But that's not my problem, that's for them to decide 

Rant 2: Some guy TOUCHED ME. In my line of work I've seen a lot of creepy old guys (Trust me, it isn't a job you're thinking of), and I can usually handle it, but this just caught me off guard. He just touched my shoulder in passing, but I HATE being touched, especially by strange old men. I was kinda starting to get brain fog, but that cleared it right up... so uh, thanks, creepy old guy?  Whatever. I think it's funny.

3D Modeling

Deltarune

I won't spoil anything, but it's a lot of fun. I'm currently going through chapter 3 again looking for secrets. There's a reeeaaallly funny one I found that I'm just barely holding myself back from sharing. I'm also trying to "git gud" as the kids say.

Shape-Up (and wrap up)

After this I'm gonna cut my hair. I've gotten pretty good at it, since I don't like asking for haircuts anymore lol. I'm also gonna finish clearing off my desk so I can actually use it. That's all I've been up to this week though.
