I think I'm redeveloping a love for reading

The most I've read was the time during middle school and high school. ever since I graduated in 2021, my passion for books has slowly dwindled.

I've recently discovered while reading Michael Chriton's "Congo" why I loved reading so much.

whenever I read I find that it helps me take my mind off of things and allows me to escape into another world more interesting and perilous than my own. I'm finding harder to put down a book these days as I'm never sure when I'll be in the mood to read again.

it no longer feels like I'm forcing myself to read, rather I want to be in these stories for as long as possible.

it's been a long time coming, but I'm glad it came regardless.
