ok so i havent slept since my last blog and i have nothing better to do so im going to talk about chapter 4 (very lengthy and im also sleep deprived so bear with me)

[ church ]

the lightworld section at the beginning was really funny and cool

i love how little of a fuck both susie and kris gave about the church service and just screwed around the whole time

[ noelle hosue ]

going to noelles house was a big thing for me

after playing through it multiple times and watching multiple playthroughs i still feel like im missing some stuff in her house

also dess allegadely datin asriel is like

the cutest thing ever

i love it

kris preventing us from looking at the shelter code was really spooky im ngl

i still dont understand why they walk around with their hair in the face

literally just aura farming in front of me for no good reason

anyways floating around the house as the soul was really scary i didnt want to mess anything up but i was also really curious as to whats happening

seeing kris drink something random and a mysterious voice (its carol guys i swear guys)  tell them onimous things only for them to pass out shortly after was very haunting

especially since i didnt re enter the kitchen and missed out on them playing the piano

going to the basement i accidentally activated the speaker and panicked dude i was so scared i messed up but its what youre supposed to do lol

the whole power outtage thing was kinda cute and scary i cant lie

obviously the yuri was cute but hearing about the evil route in dragon blazers ii was super haunting because i was in the process of finishing the beginning of the weird route

entering dess' room and getting hit with a hockey puck was very scary my heart jumped when it happened lol

running from kris in the closet was a fun section and really funny in retrospect

gay shit goin on outside meanwhile a tom and jerry episode is happening in the closet

hearing noelle retell her "dream" was really interesting and i honestly hope we can tell her about the dark worlds

she deserves to know honestly

susie playing the guitar was cool she obviously never played instruments and the notes she made were very in character for her

but then... carol dude...

when she first walked in i froze (wow haha pun lolololol) dude i couldnt beleive we got to actually see her

i still dont get why she was so harsh on noelle

like i get it youre cold she may have done something wrong with the guitar and all but like dude chill out your daughters just gay

also susie getting the last laugh was really funny i liked that part

[ first sanctuary ]

ill be honest this place was so damn pretty when i first arrived

it looked so good the spritework is so good dude shout out to all the artists who worked on this part

the music felt very fittign too

(oh and also i really appreciate how toby handles the whole religious aspect you can tell its very neutral and i like that a lot)

the enemies being stuff like water coolers and wizards made of books were really creative i especially love the little cup guys theyre very silly and ctue

learning more about the prophecy was really neat it was nice not just relying on The Legend and secret bosses

gerson was such a cool character dude his intro is so dumb and goofy i love it

random old guy walks into alternate universe and doesnt question anything i love that

obviously the trope of "random dude who person doesnt like ends up being a mentor" is very common but they did it really well with him
