im in my late teens (17) and i keep getting requests from adults in their mid 20s even though i make it pretty clear that i only add people in my age range

I believe those minors don't really read your profile, like they probably just see a cool layout and want to add you, if it's not that then I don't know why they keep trying to add you

Hi. Minor here. If you have clearly said in your profile that you donβt want friend requests from minors then I agree that we should respect that. I do sometimes send friend requests to adults who seem cool. However, I always check their profile to see if they express any objection to friend requests from minors(because I know that some adults do) and I only send the request if I donβt see any objection. If you have stated that you do object then itβs wrong that your wishes are being ignored.

Have you stated on your profile that you donβt want friend requests from people below or above a certain age? If so then it should be respected. If not you canβt expect people to know what your preference is.
