recent diy project; minecraft and misc life updates

This past month was 2 of my friend's birthdays, so I sewed both of them gifts this year. I didnt get a picture of the lipgloss pouch I made (I wasnt that proud of it anyways T_T). But I wanted to show this bag I made!

This bag was made out of a pair of courdoroy pants that i thrifted years ago. I thought I was going to hem the pants so i could wear them, but i never did. so i figured they would get better use as a gift.

To be honest the decision to use that fabric was mostly because I couldn't find any stuff I liked online. Because of my transportation situation rn im basically homebound. But because of that I was forced to be resourceful and it came out perfect!

the lace is from joanns. I got it during their closing sale. its so stupid that theyre closing down but atleast i got like 9 different trims on sale.

Since I've been back home from college, I've realized that I cannot live in my hometown anymore. I have no independence here because of the car dependency! the car that me and my brother shared was totaled, and getting a new car is hard. so ive literally been stranded like a damn child in my house. it takes me way too far back into my highschool days. how the FUCK did people live like this?

because of this ive been vicariously living through biking and transit youtube videos lmao.

in other news, ive been obsessed with minecraft recently. I succesfully imported my world onto a new server with neoforge modding instead of forge, so now i can have shaders while i play. suddenly i actually like my builds? i can never go back.
