seriously, i came here to make some friends but people treat this site as somenthing aesthetic. it's cool to have a site where everthing is customizable but damn, most people just customize their profiles and then never come back, besides the fact that most people here are english speakers, it's very difficult to find someone from your country

Part of it is just the site being small despite it's seemingly large member count, but also the fact that those who join often leave in like a month, with very few remaining active. Usually, I've gone the route of sending mass friend requests, then overtime removing those who would just go inactive permanently. This makes it possible to get a decent-sized group of frens, but not require having an endless list of people I barely talk to either due to inactivity or due to there being too many to discuss with.

it is a bit difficult. sometimes i dm people, but rarely do we have more than one conversation. part of it might be me, i dislike having to be the person to reach out every single time...
