TikTok honestly revived and ruined emo/alt music and culture

Dont get me wrong, I love that people like this kind of music I grew up on and its nice to see alternative and emo music get another wave of popularity and a new generation of people enjoying it. But I feel like its became more of a trend now and people make it their whole personality to seem different and are kinda posers now. I dont really know how to explain it but in a way tiktok just oversaturated emo and alternative music by reviving and making it a trend/nostalgia trip.
