Confession: I never had MySpace.
Correction. I made myself one once when I was a kid, when my neighbor two doors down wrote the word "myspace" on a slip of paper and I took it home and searched it on internet explorer and made an account.
I got in EXTREME amounts of trouble because my ultra-conservative/Christian mother flipped her shit on me when I told her about it (because I was a literal child who thought making her own "website" was the coolest thing EVER). I'm still not entirely sure why she was so enraged over it.
SO HERE I AM. A 26 year old woman finally getting to experience the true joys of Myspace.
Suck it, mom.
Confessions of a Millennial who never had Myspace *ahem* "spacehey"... until today

There are lots of creeps on the internet, now you're one of them.

I totally relate! I was in 8th grade when I first made mine and I think I probably kept it secret for at least a year or two from my parents! I have vivid memories of sitting on the family computer and quickly minimizing the explorer page anything my dad walked by lmfao

Welcome. I remember the days of trying to convince my parents the internet will change everything and making websites will make me money. Oh have they now seen the light... lol
