Goh catching Zapdos

So in episode 40 of Pokémon Journeys “A crackling raid battle” ash and goh chase zapdos around Vermillion city and team up with team Rocket to weaken zapdos to catch him. Later on team rocket turns on ash to steal pikachu leaving goh by himself to battle Zapdos on the roof of the city’s power plant. He ends up capturing zapdos twice in pokeballs but zapdos escapes both catching attempts and ends up flying off.

I was on the edge of my seat gripping the couch and clawing the curtains because even though I knew that catching zapdos would be a big plot change and the writers wouldn’t let goh just casually have a legendary Pokémon to show off every episode, I really wanted to see zapdos be caught by goh. Imagine the crazy power goh would have like he would dominate the world coronation series and might end up going up against ash, like a friends to lovers to rivals situation!!

Also team rocket Jessie is one of the best characters her tiny shirt big hair and actress fascination are so fun!!
