it feels so ridiculous that i'm formatting my digi!diary in a pink-ish ahh way ( i do not like pinks; i do like them but if i have to choose, i'd choose yellow over that) i feel embarrassed a bit... should i act more "age appropriate"? im literally turning 18 and yet i act so childish even on the internet. dont mind me, pandemic took my life so im now doing things younger me couldn't..｡･ﾟﾟ･(＞_＜)･ﾟﾟ･｡.
it feels like i should be more mature for my age and conform to what is adult-like. i was just told that i was sexualizing children by dressing up lolita dresses (yes i do wear them) am i??? i really love wearing lolitas and i didnt know it was that much of a problem. ( ; ω ; ) is it true? or is the beholder's fault for thinking as such? it's not my intention at all, and i just really love wearing cute clothing.

19 year old here. I think that the internet is a safe-space for me to be different than the norm, although i think you are really brave for being who you are even in public (in a good way!)
About the Lolita fashion; if it wasn't your intention to sexualize kids, than people shouldn't be thinking that. I feel that normal people want to criminalize the out of the norm or "cringy" stuff so that we problably regret and be normal and boring.
Anyways, be who you want to be! :)
thank youu! i've been told a lot that i dont act like my age (and dont look like one but once they find it out it suddenly becomes weird???) i'm so glad that u said this as im heavily doubting my life choices rn
