being scene is amazing except for one thing

i LOVE being a scene girl sm, the fashion, the culture, the music, itz so epic!! BUT. MY GOD IT IS SO EXPENSIVE. ima start having 2 limit my monster purchases bc i cannot afford sum of the super epic clothes T_T i wanna go thrifting more but they usually dont have a ton of scene stuff (tho i have gotten some adorable skirtz). diy is also fun but its expensive 2 O.0 when i get the chance ima take my monsters to a recycling place and recyle them in x-change 4 money lolz

Although I myself am not a Scene person (I'm more of a McBling girlie hence my username), I can understand how you're feeling to a certain degree Tay. I saw a Juicy Couture tracksuit on Amazon for over a $100, but I was able to get a Paris Hilton for $17 (both of them are hot pink with the blinged out back so I wasn't mad that I didn't get a Juicy one). If you want to look for some inexpensive Scene clothing you could try fast fashion brands on Amazon or Shein since a lot of clothes on there are cheap. I don't support fast fashion if people can afford higher-quality clothes due to the negative environmental impact but if you can't afford any non-fast fashion Scene clothing then it's alright if you buy fast fashion pieces. You could also see if you can get the proper crafting supplies to be able to make DIY Scene clothing/accessories. Upcycling is more environmentally friendly but do what's most accessible to you. I hope you found this helpful -xoxo, Mary

I feel like that every cool hobby will be expensive. Like cars, cosplays, and even scene. Why!?

Not sure to what extent I was considered "Scene" but I was the kind who, while I really liked the music, never bothered to dress up for anything. It's funny seeing normal looking people be into that stuff I feel
