I just got out of work and my feet hurt bro. this one guy was weirded out cuz I recognized him and said welcome back. which I get cuz I'd also do the same thing so I feel a little bad lol. omg and then this one lady, she had gotten a large sweet iced tea. unfortunately we were out but there's a solution to this while more is brewing and the line has to keep moving in the drive thru. I simply just put the needed amount of liquid sweetener (8 pumps for a large) and then add unsweetened iced tea and mix it before handing it to her. I give her her drink and in a very unsure and untrusting voice, she asks me, "that's how you guys make it?" "yes, when we're out of sweet tea, it is. some is brewing right now but it wont be done for another 5 minutes." "what's in this?" still very untrusting in her voice, this time I can hear shes skeptical. "it's just liquid sugar and unsweetened tea." I tell her. I then am proceeding to then hand her the rest of her order. "here's the rest! can I get you some more napkins?(she has about 2 bags of food.) "I'm just not sure I trust this." she tells me. I'm honestly baffled but this is what I say to her. "give it a try!" I have big smile on my face cuz customer service. she gives it a sip and then says "this is actually pretty good!" her eyes were a bit wide with surprise lol "I'm glad" I tell her. she drives away and I'm low-key astonished my customer service alter ego can work sometimes.
