we need to start going to malls more. I only ever shop in person now and I'm lucky to have friends that are kinda the same way. but malls are just dead rn :/
and I'm a mallrat down in my soul. like, I love just handing out at the food court, trying stuff on, just being at the mall for HOURS on end
but it feels like ppl don't like to jut hangout in spaces like that anymore
yall out there??

My local mall (which also happens to be my childhood mall) still seems to be doing alright, surprisingly enough, though there is a mall that's sort of further away from me that I go to occasionally that's unfortunately not doing so well and has become a ghost town over the past decade or so.
I guess I'm also lucky that my local mall just so happens to be on the way to/home from school for a lot of my friends and I, as there's a bus transit center near the parking lot and across from the Macy's entrance, which means I've had the chance to stop at the mall on the way home from school with a few friends. Sometimes I'll go there by myself or with family also.
I too am a mallrat and enjoy stopping at the mall, if for no other reason, to grab some food and to kill a few hours walking around observing others as well as maybe grabbing a few things from Target.

gawd I miss malls so bad!!! my mall fuckin sucks, literally nobody can afford owning a store there anymore, so its kinda dead now.... but if I had a decent mall id be there all the time bro. bring back malls bro.... bro...........

No I sooo get what you mean. The internet is great and all but I feel that people stop trying to just get together with friends and go to the mall because 'why not?'. tbh tho, I haven't gone to the mall with friends in a while, but I definitley want to do it again :)
yeah and like, even if ppl do want to get tgt its always gotta be like a set plan in a specific time.
