what its like being a tokio hotel fan in germany

tokio hotel is pretty unheard of in america, but everyone knows who they are here. unfortunately not many ppl like them and it makes me really sad!

there's always been the die hard fans like other teenage girls in the 2000's, but besides that nobody really talks about them. they're viewed as a one hit wonder because of monsoon and now people only talk about tom and heidi's marriage in the news. i was really happy there was such a huge crowd both times i saw them in concert but i think they're seen as a nostalgia band. i really hate telling other germans that i'm into their music because its a one way ticket to get BULLIEDDD. i understand not liking some aspects of the band but they have really really good songs when you actually listen to them! i really wish acceptance of other people's interests was more common here omg. why is it such a bad thing that i love a 2000's boy band? 😞 to be cringe is to be free

(i'm happy i missed the wave of hate the fans got in the 2000's tho, that must have been brutal!!!)

This is so true! I live in america tho, but literally nobody knows them but im kind of glad no one here really knows them because if they were more popular here i know the hate train would have been sooo much worse.

(P.S. sorry for rambling it’s just that I have not spoke to a other tokio hotel fan in so long)

yes!!! i think that's a plus side about being in a smaller fandom in america. nobody knows them so they can't make fun. something i definitely like more about america
