🕯 Backstory

Akiro was born into a family of exorcists but was cursed at birth by a vengeful spirit his mother sealed away. His father went missing on a mission, and his mother died protecting him when the curse first activated at age 9. Since then, Akiro has lived under the care of a hidden shrine, training to control his curse and use it to fight malevolent spirits. Now enrolled in a mysterious school where exorcists and cursed beings coexist in secrecy, he’s determined to uncover the truth behind his family’s legacy—and why the spirits keep whispering his name.
